Dear Parishioners,

 

As you might have seen in the bulletin, the Fry’s rebate program we have used for years has ended.  The new (and improved!) program will be so much easier for all concerned.  All you need to participate are access to a computer and an email address.

 

On the backside of this letter we are including instructions for you to sign up for the new program. Starting August 1, 2013, if you have an email address and access to a computer, you will be able to register for the new Community Rewards Program.  Once registered for the program, all you have to do is give the cashier your Fry’s V.I.P. card and then a percentage of your purchase will automatically be credited to our account. Fry’s  will send us a check quarterly reflecting the amount credited to our account in that quarter.  We no longer will be selling Fry’s Gift Cards and you will no longer have to buy them or reload them or use them in any way in order for us to earn money.  Just use your V.I.P. card when you shop at Fry’s.  You are probably already using your V.I.P. now when you shop there.  We all take advantage of the gasoline discount they have.  If you do not have a Fry’s V.I.P. card and you wish to help us out, the next time you are at Fry’s, please sign up for and get a V.I.P. card. 

 

Now if you do not have an email address or access to a computer, and you want to help us with this painless fundraiser, come into the Youth Office either after Mass or during the week and we will help you to get signed up.  It should only take about ten minutes to get it done and then whenever you use your V.I.P. card our group will get credit for that use.

 

With the old program, the Youth Group made around $4000 to $6000 every year.  The money is used to run our self-supporting youth programs, such as the Over 60’s Dinners; the Christmas Dinners for the Parishioners; Halloween Party for the children; lunches for the homeless; donations to tornado, hurricane and other disaster victims; scholarships for high school seniors, etc.

 

We appreciate everything you have done for us in the past and hope and pray that you will continue with this very easy fundraiser in the future.  Again, if you need help in signing up or would like more information, please come see us!

INSTRUCTIONS TO SIGN UP FOR

FRY’S COMMUNITY REWARDS PROGRAM

 

Step 1Creating an Online Fry’s Account

 

**NOTE:  If you already have an online Fry’s account, skip to Step 2.

 

Go to www.FrysCommunityRewards.com

 

Select “Create an Account”.

 

Under Sign-In information, enter your email and create a password.  (Write down your email & password—you will need it in step 2).

 

Select “Use Card Number”.

 

Enter your Fry’s V.I.P. Card Number, last name and postal code.

 

Under ”Select Your Preferred Store” enter your postal code.

 

Select “Find Stores”.

 

Choose your store then select “Create Account”.

 

You will then be prompter to check you email for a confirmation email.  Click the hyperlink in your email to finish creating your Online Fry’s Account.

 

Continue to step #2 to register for the Fry’s Community Rewards Program of your choice.

 

Step 2Register for the Fry’s Community rewards Program

 

Go to www.FrysCommunityRewards.com.

 

Select “Sign-In”.

 

Enter your email and password then select “sign in”.  (Here is where you use your email and password you created in step 1).

 

Select “My Account” then select “Account Settings” from drop down menu.

 

Click “edit” under “Community Rewards”.  If prompter, enter personal information.

 

Under “Find Your Organization” enter either the number 80035 or “St. Francis de Sales Parish Youth Program”.

 

Under “Select Your Organization” select box next to your organization.

 

Then select “Save Changes”.

 

If you have registered correctly, you should now see your organization information listed under “Community Rewards” on your Account Summary page.
